Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Project Development
Green Point Energy's main activity is the identification and development of greenhouse gas emission reduction projects under the flexible mechanisms of the Kyoto Protocol (CDM). We are involved in all aspects of the project cycle, including:
- Project identification
- CDM project documentation (Project Identification Note – PIN; Project Design Document - PDD)
- Selection of project validator, verifier, and active management of CDM procedures up to the project's registration
- Advice in technology selection, emission monitoring plan
- Assistance in leveraging international finance for equipment purchases
- Identification of carbon buyers, marketing of carbon credits, assistance during negotiation of Emission Reduction Purchase Agreements (ERPA)
- Management of emission reduction verification schedule throughout project's lifetime

We provide similar services for the development of voluntary carbon offset projects. Our approach is flexible, and we can intervene at any stage of the project cycle, depending on our client's needs.
